About the Time Tracker

A simple, private time tracker for your work and study sessions. Press Start on an activity to clock in and Stop when you’re done — only one timer runs at a time, so your hours never double-count. The Today panel adds everything up live with a colour breakdown, so you can see at a glance where your day went.

It doubles as a lightweight desk: pin sticky notes and drag them anywhere on the board for reminders, to-dos, or a quick brain-dump. Everything — timers and notes alike — is saved in your own browser, so it’s still here when you come back. Timers reset each new day (your notes stay), and nothing is ever uploaded or requires an account.

How to use it

  1. 1Start a timer. Press Start on Work, Study, or your own activity to begin clocking time.
  2. 2Check today. The Today panel totals your time live with a per-activity breakdown.
  3. 3Pin notes. Add sticky notes and drag them around the board for quick reminders.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my data saved?+

In your browser’s local storage on this device. Your timers and notes are never uploaded and no account is needed — the trade-off is that they live in this browser only, so clearing site data or switching device/browser starts fresh.

Can two timers run at once?+

No — starting one timer stops the one that was running, so your time is never counted twice. This mirrors how you actually work: you’re doing one thing at a time.

Do the timers reset?+

The activity timers reset at the start of each new day so “Today” always reflects today. Your sticky notes are kept across days. You can also press “Reset today” any time to zero the timers manually.

What happens if I close the tab while a timer runs?+

The running timer keeps its start time, so when you reopen the page it resumes counting from where it left off. If you won’t be working, press Stop first so the time in between isn’t counted.

Can I add my own activities?+

Yes. Work, Study, and Break are there by default; click “+ Activity” to add your own (e.g. Reading, Chores, a project name) and remove any you don’t need.
