QR Code Generator
Create a QR code from a link, Wi-Fi, contact, email, or SMS.
A QR code generator turns a link, Wi-Fi login, contact card, email, or SMS into a scannable QR code. To make a QR code online, choose a type, fill in the fields, and download the finished code as a PNG or SVG — it is built right in your browser with no upload and no sign-up.

Turn a link, Wi-Fi login, contact card, email, or text message into a scannable QR code in seconds. Pick a type and fill in the fields — the tool builds the correctly encoded string for you, so Wi-Fi codes connect automatically and contact codes save straight to the phonebook.
Customize the foreground and background colors, adjust the size for print or screen, and choose an error-correction level — higher levels stay readable even if the code gets partly covered. Add your own logo to the center and the tool composites it onto a white padding square at the highest error-correction level so the code still scans. Everything is generated in your browser and downloads as a PNG or SVG. Nothing you enter is sent to a server.
How to use it
- 1Choose a type. Pick Text/URL, Wi-Fi, vCard, Email, or SMS and fill in the fields.
- 2Adjust options. Set the colors, size, and error-correction level, and optionally add a center logo.
- 3Download. Save the QR code as a PNG or SVG and use it anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a QR code online?+
Pick a type at the top (Text/URL, Wi-Fi, vCard, Email, or SMS), fill in the fields, and a scannable code appears as you type. Adjust the size, foreground and background colors, and error-correction level, optionally drop a logo in the center, then hit Download PNG or Download SVG. It all happens in your browser — no upload and no account.
Can I create a QR code for a URL or website link?+
Yes. Choose the Text/URL type and paste your link — the code encodes it directly, so scanning it opens the page in the phone’s browser. Because it is a static code with the URL baked in, it keeps working with no service to sign up for and nothing that can expire.
What can I put in a QR code?+
Pick a type: a website URL or plain text, Wi-Fi credentials that connect on scan, a contact card (vCard) that saves to the phonebook, a pre-filled email, or an SMS. Each type builds the correct encoded format automatically, and most phone cameras read it without a separate app.
How does a Wi-Fi QR code work?+
Enter your network name, password, and security type, and the tool encodes them in the standard Wi-Fi format. When someone scans it, their phone offers to join the network — no need to type the password. Special characters in the name or password are escaped so they scan correctly.
Can I change the QR code colors?+
Yes. Set a foreground (dark) and background (light) color. Keep strong contrast — a dark code on a light background scans most reliably. Very low contrast can make a code unreadable, so test it after changing colors.
What is error correction in a QR code?+
Error correction lets a QR code still be read when part of it is dirty, damaged, or covered by a logo. Higher levels (Q, H) tolerate more damage but make the code denser, so very long content may need a lower level to fit.
Can I add a logo to the center of the QR code?+
Yes. Upload an image and the tool draws it onto the center over a small white rounded square, scaled to about a fifth of the code so the pattern around it stays readable. It also switches to the highest error-correction level (H) automatically, which is what lets a code survive a covered center. The logo is embedded in the downloaded PNG and the copied image; the SVG stays as the plain code. Scan your finished code to confirm it reads before printing.
Do these QR codes expire?+
No. This tool creates static QR codes that encode your content directly, so they never expire and don’t depend on any service staying online.
Is anything uploaded?+
No. The QR code is generated in your browser and downloaded as a PNG or SVG. Nothing you enter is sent to a server.
