About the Merge PDF

Combine several PDFs into one clean document — great for stitching together reports, scans, invoices, or chapters. Add your files, drag them into the order you want, and merge. Every page from each source PDF is copied into the result in sequence, so nothing is dropped or re-compressed.

The merge runs entirely in your browser with pdf-lib, so your documents are never uploaded and there’s no sign-up. Your files stay on your device.

How to use it

  1. 1Add PDF files. Select two or more PDF documents to combine.
  2. 2Arrange them. Drag entries to reorder and remove any you don’t want — the list order sets the page order.
  3. 3Merge and download. Click Merge and download the combined PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit on file size or number of PDFs?+

There’s no fixed limit — merge as many PDFs as your device can comfortably handle. Very large files use more memory since everything runs locally in the browser.

Can I change the order of the files?+

Yes. Drag any file in the list to reorder it before merging, and use the ✕ button to remove ones you don’t need. The list order becomes the page order in the merged PDF.

Does merging change the pages or quality?+

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays selectable and there’s no re-compression or quality loss.

Can it merge password-protected PDFs?+

PDFs that require a password to open won’t load. Remove the open password first, then merge the unlocked files.

Are my PDFs uploaded?+

No. Merging happens entirely in your browser, so your documents never leave your device.
