About the Image Resizer
Need a photo at a specific size for an upload, avatar, or web page? Load an image and its original dimensions fill in automatically. Switch between “By pixels” — type an exact width and height — and “By percentage”, a slider that scales from 1% up to 200% of the original. The aspect-ratio lock keeps width and height in step so nothing looks stretched.
Have a whole folder to do? Drop in several images at once and the same settings apply to every one, downloaded together as a single ZIP. In batch mode “By percentage” scales each image by the same percentage of its own size, and “By pixels” with the aspect lock on fits each image’s longest side to your target while keeping its proportions.

How to use it

Frequently asked questions
Can I resize several images at once?+
Yes. Drop in or select multiple images and the same settings apply to every one; they download together as a single ZIP named resized-images.zip. Add just one image and you get the normal single-image preview and download.
In batch mode, how are different-sized images handled?+
In “By percentage” each image is scaled by the same percentage of its own size, so proportions are always kept. In “By pixels” with the aspect lock on, each image is scaled so its longest side matches your target while keeping its own shape. Turn the lock off to force every image to the exact width × height (differently shaped images will be stretched).
Can I enlarge an image, not just shrink it?+
Yes — the percentage slider goes up to 200%, and you can type larger pixel values. Shrinking stays crisp, but enlarging beyond the original looks soft since there’s no extra detail to invent.
What does “lock aspect ratio” do?+
With it on, changing the width recalculates the height to match (and vice versa) so the image keeps its proportions. Turn it off to set width and height independently, which can stretch the picture.
Which output format should I pick?+
PNG keeps transparency and is lossless. JPG is smallest for photos but fills transparent areas with white. WebP is a strong middle ground; JPG and WebP are saved at quality 0.92.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?+
No. All resizing happens locally in your browser, so your files never leave your device — even for a large batch.
